Dr. Scott Palmer
A second-generation dentist, Dr. Palmer was born in Haysville but graduated from Derby High. After attending undergraduate at WSU, Dr. Palmer went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 1994.
Dr. Palmer has continued the pursuit of achieving excellence in dental care by pursuing extensive postgraduate studies in all fields of dentistry. He studied in Georgia and Texas for orthodontics and has been doing conventional braces for 18 years and has been certified in Invisalign for the last eight. He went to the University of Chicago and Arizona for microscopic endodontics and surgical microscopic retreatment and has done thousands of successful root canal procedures including retreatments and surgical apicoectomies . He received the Oral lmplantology award upon graduation from UNMC and earned his initial certification in surgical implantology at the McGarry Institute in Oklahoma. That was followed by advanced training in implants and surgical grafting at the Rocky Mountain Dental Institute in Denver, The Global Implant Dental Institute in LA and the Great Lakes Implant Institute in Minnesota. In addition to being adept at feldspathic and pressed ceramic veneer procedures, Dr. Palmer is proficient at smile design and esthetic makeovers utilizing the most current materials and advances available in Dentistry today. Oral Surgery is his true passion. All extractions including wisdom teeth and impactions, alveoloplasty, tori removal,implants and surgical grafting/bone augmentation. Dr. Palmer works frequently with Special Anesthesia Services providing surgical care under sedation.
Doctor and his wife married in June of 1990 and have three children. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, the outdoors and various adventures.
Dr. Toby Lee, DDS
Dr. Toby Lee, DDS, is a general dentist at Palmer Dental Group in Haysville, Kansas, with deep roots in the Wichita community where he was born and raised. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Friends University in 2003 before going on to receive his dental degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2007.
Following dental school, Dr. Lee began his career in private practice in Wichita and joined Palmer Family Dental in 2010. He remains committed to continuing education, regularly attending courses in Kansas City and Tulsa, and is an active member of the Wichita District Dental Society, as well as the Kansas Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Lee was drawn to dentistry because it combines his interests in math and science with his passion for working with his hands and caring for others. He finds fulfillment in providing quality care and helping patients improve their oral health.
Outside the office, Dr. Lee enjoys staying active through running and exercising, reading, and watching sports, especially baseball. He also values spending time with his family and attending his children’s activities. A former member of the Singing Quakers at Friends University, he continues to enjoy music and serves his church by singing in the choir. Dr. Lee married his high school sweetheart in 2003, and together they have three children. He looks forward to serving you at Palmer Dental Group.
